Hello Stampers ~ I love the Botanical Flowers you can make using the framelits.
Where did yesterday go? I had to work in the morning to prepare for the presentation in the evening. Then I had to work last night. In between I had to help out with Remi. Needless to say I did not get much time in my craft room. I have so much to get designed and not sure I will get it all done as Jess leaves for Vegas today and I have the girls. Wish me luck!
The ladies from the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop team decided to challenge ourselves by choosing to participate in a Challenge this week.
This was right up my alley! I checked out my challenge blogs and found a color one I wanted to do. It has been a while since I did a color challenge so I knew I needed to do the one at Fab Friday
So in looking at the colors I decided to use the Botanical Builder Framelits for my elements. The solid flower would be perfect for some flowers. The Peekaboo Peach was used to cut out the flower and the edges were sponged with Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry. The center was stamped with the coordinating color using the center from the stamp set. I used the Bermuda Bay to cut out some of the fern shapes. Since I knew I would need some filler, I used the tiny flower and the colors of the challenge and cut out some of those. To add some interest, the leaf swirl was cut out of Basic Black and added to the left side of a Whisper White card base. I then started layering the flowers and fern sprays. Once all the flowers were place I added some pearls to the center of the small flowers as there was a hole from the framelit. Here is my completed creation.

Are you ready to check out some other challenges? Head on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see which challenge she did. Then check out the other ladies on the hop to see which
challenge they participated in.
Thanks for visiting me today! I am hoping to get some craft time but it will depend on Remi’s nap and if I have Zoie as she is still running a fever. Have a Wonderful Wednesday and what colors would you use if you made some Botanical Flowers?
