Bye Bye Botanical Builder

Hello Everyone ~ are you as sad as I am to say Bye Bye Botanical Builder?

I am busy creating and designing so I have everything prepped before my trip next week.  I have to have my posts ready as well as my projects for my Learn Something New class and my collage class.
My To Do list is helping a lot and I love crossing things off of it.

Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop this week is focusing on retiring items.  We were to choose the retiring item we will miss the most.

I found a great sketch to use as my inspiration at Sunday Stamps blog.

I am so sad to see Botanical Builder retire.  I love this set and use it a lot.  I chose to use the leaf strip in place of the banner.  I cut it out of Mint Macaron.  The flowers were cut out of Watermelon Wonder and the leaves were from Cucumber Crush.  Using a white background I added the leaf strip using glue dots.  Glue dots were also used to attach the leaves to the flowers.  My flowers were added using glue dots and dimensionals.  I used some retired Watermelon Wonder lace trim to tie around the bottom of the panel.  My white panel was attached to my Basic Black panel.  These panels were attached to my Watermelon Wonder card base.  I finished off my creation with rhinestones in the center of the flowers.  Here is my creation.

Are you ready to see what the other ladies will miss the most from the retiring list?  Hope on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what she will be missing!

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  Make sure you get the retiring items you want before they are gone!  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and don’t forget to say Bye Bye to Botanical Builder!

  1. Beautiful card. Yes, I love that set too. There are so many really great sets retiring. I know there will be great replacements, but I still want to keep some of the old. Have fun on your trip. Hugs.
