Product Focus Thursday

Good Morning Stampers ~ Are you ready to see what our Product Focus Thursday is all about?

I love Bling!  I am sure you know that about me though as I don’t hide this fact.  I have several packages of the glimmer paper from Sale-abration.  Even though it is retired, I will use it as it is just so pretty.

This week our Product is the Dragonfly Dreams bundle.  I love this bundle and had a hard time determining what to use.  I opted to use the strip of dragonflies as this is not often used by stampers.  I used some Whisper White card stock and cut the strip of dragonflies out.  I saved the white dragonflies to use for a later card.  I then used the same size Basic Black and cut the dragonflies out.  to make my inlaid dragonflies, I cut a piece of Whisper White the same size as the one I cut the dragonflies out of.  I attached the 2 pieces.  Dots of Tombow glue were added to the back of my black dragonfly cut out and this was fit inside the white.  Using the glimmer paper from Sale-abration I cut the dragonfly wings out of Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sugarplum, and Mint Macaron.  Tombow glue was added to the back of these pieces and set aside to dry some.  When the glue was dry enough that it would not ooze out when placed in the dragonfly, the pieces were fit into the dragonflies like a puzzle.  The dragonfly puzzle piece as attached to a Bermuda Bay piece of cardstock and then added to the Whisper White card base.  To finish off the card I added a bow made using the 1/8 inch Bermuda Bay ribbon.  Here is my stained glass dragonflies.
