Card Candy with Stampin’ Up – new series
Hello Everyone – wait until you see what Vicky and I are bringing your way with our Card Candy with Stampin’ Up – new series.
Years ago when I went to Convention in Utah another demo and myself use to host a card candy swap. Card Candy are embellishments made with the same set of products that you could use to decorate your cards.It was a lot of fun and enjoyed being creative on a small scale. I talked to Vicky and she said she would be willing to give it a try. We decided to make 3 candies and to make a video showing how to make them. Today we are sharing the first card candy video we made along with the card we made using that candy. We will share the other 2 videos later this week so make sure you come back and check them out. For my card candy this week I chose 4 main colors – Berry Burst, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, and Shaded Spruce. I also use some of the Bright and Beautiful pattern paper on my candy and my cards. I looked at all my dies and pulled ones I thought I could use for the different elements. I love how this card candy turned out and the adorable card I made using it.

I used a retired set – Cheerful Basket – for the butterflies to decorate the front of the card and the envelope. I don’t have a set that has a butterfly in it. Guess I need to do some shopping! lol
To show you some other cards that used the dies I used today I found several. This is a beautiful card that used the Chic dies. This idea uses that adorable butterfly. This card uses some of the other dies from the Nature’s Prints set. The Around the Bend dies are new to me so I have only made this card with one of the dies
