I love the simplicity of this card! It started with the May Sheetload of Cards – #SUYSMay2023, sketch and the beautiful Countryside Inn pattern paper. I am in love with the paper and I think it made a great masculine birthday card idea.
If you have not looked at this paper carefully, you need to check it out. With various shades of blue and patterns it is the perfect paper to add to your stash.
I did change the sketch around as I needed it to work for my image. Here is the video explaining how I made the card and the reasons I changed the sketch.
Look at how the pearls set off the pattern paper and add just the right touch of bling.
That cupcake is just the right image needed to decorate the inside of the card and envelope. Did you catch the tip about the strip of pattern paper I cut off?
I have made several masculine birthday cards and posted them here. This idea is a great way to use small squares of this pattern paper. Here is another layout you could use with today’s products to create a guy’s birthday card.
