I hope you are all safe this morning as we had freezing rain last night and are preparing for another winter storm. This time the forecast is for 3 – 5 inches in our area. It will be interesting to see what we end up with.
On my Instagram feed one of the Ladies I follow talked about a daily Coloring challenge.
I checked it out and decided to try and play along. I spent some time stamping some images that I could use for coloring. I could not believe how few images I have that can be colored. I stamped some of the images from Flower Shop and colored them with my markers. Here is my Day 1 for the challenge. I will be using them later to make a card of some kind.
Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop. This week Sandy chose our colors.
Stampin’ Up color matches
Sandy felt we need some bright colors to work with this week.
Last week I had used Sahara Sand with Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso Coral. I thought it would be fun to use Sahara Sand with purple this week so I chose to use Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant.
I wanted a simple sketch to use so I went and checked out my challenge blogs. I was honored to have been chosen as the Top Nacho at Nacho Average Challenges. They had a simple sketch again this week so I decided to use their sketch for my card today.
Here is my creation using our colors and the sketch challenge.

I am anxious to see what colors the other ladies used. Hop with me over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what she created using our colors this week.
Thanks for visiting me today. I hope you will take some time today to color. It does not matter if it is even 5 minutes. It is a great way to jump start your creativity as well as give you a supply of images for your cards. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
