Another dryer sheet flower

Hello Ladies!

Well Michaela got off okay.  She had quite a bit of problems getting her flight straight.  With all the weather issues in Dallas and having her flight cancelled so many times, they managed to cancel her flight from here to Connecticut.  She had to get to Connecticut for her job as she has training the rest of the week.  She spent hours on the phone last night trying to get a flight and she finally requested a refund and went with another airlines.  Then she had to get her rental car straight as she was going to land about 3 hours after she was supposed to pick it up.  Then she had to contact the hotel and make sure that was okay.  She was exhausted after it was all over.  I am glad she got everything straight and she arrived at her destination last night.

Today I am sharing a card I made with another dryer sheet flower.  This one uses bronze glitter glue on the edges.  It also only has the glue on the very tip of the middle flower.  I wanted the focus to be the flower so I kept the background clean and just embossed it.  Here is my card.

Want to know how you can get ribbon to match your colors if you won’t have it?  Take a spritzer and fill it with alcohol.  Add about 15 drops of reinker, replace the cap, and shake.  Then all you have to do is take your ribbon and place it on a protective mat.  Then spritz it and set aside to dry.  When it is dry use it like any other ribbon.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping to get some play time today so I can make cards for posting the next few days.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

  2. No doubt that the flower is THE standout on this wonderful card…love that you used a pretty easy background (love the stripes!)…really pretty – and love the colors for your flower!
