Coloring Down the Lines – Greens

Good Morning Stampers!

Well yesterday was not as exciting as the day before – no faucets to fix today.  I did have 2 ladies come to make up the workshop that got snowed out.  Today I will be cleaning as it is my normal day to do some cleaning – yuck I hate cleaning.

Today is Day 8 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

For my coloring challenge today I decided to color some of my Irresistibly Yours specialty paper.  I used a sponge and burnished on the color.  Watch to see what I do with these papers.

Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop is today.  Our colors were chosen by Liz.

I had no clue what I was going to do with these colors.  I thought it would be nice to do a Spring card.  I chose some of the greens and played with some ideas.  I wanted to use the Chevron background stamp and inked it up with Wild Wasabi and Pistachio Pudding using daubers.  I only did part of the stamp as I did not want the entire background the chevron.  After I got the background stamped, I pulled out the fern from Butterfly Basics and stamped it in Mossy Meadow.  I then just added my ribbon and sequins and my card was done.  Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping to play a little today as Zoie has been home sick 2 days and I haven’t been able to get into my craft room.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
