Coloring Down the Lines – Sprinkles

Hello Stampers!

I cannot believe all the bad weather that is occurring all over the world right now.  Flooding, earthquakes, tornadoes, and so much more that I may not know about.  I hope your part of the world is calm and that you are able to be creative for some of the day.

 My card today is for a good friend who does fundraising for the Ronald McDonald house.  When I saw this set I knew I had to have it along with the punch that goes with it.  I am sure she is going to love this set.

I began with our color challenge that was chosen by

I wanted to use a new set but this time use a different image from the set.  I love the cupcake in the Sprinkles of Life Ronald McDonald set.  The sayings in this set are so fun also.  The best part is that for every set sold $3 is donated to the Ronald McDonald Foundation.  Consider buying this set to support this fabulous organization.

I saw a sketch at Clean & Simple that I knew would be perfect for the cupcake.

    

I also ran across an embossing challenge at Just Us Girls that I realized my card could be used for also.

I decided to use Blackberry Bliss, Pink Pirouette, and Blushing Bride for the cupcake.  I stamped the wrapper by off-stamping the Blackberry Bliss.  I then used Blushing Bride to stamp the cupcake on Pink Pirouette.  I then used the punch and punched it out.  I then added the icing.  After that I added a layer of Whisper White that I embossed with the large polka dot embossing folder.  I added a Pink Pirouette ribbon and my sentiment and my card was completed.  Here is my card for our blog hop.
