Coloring Down the Lines – Too Much Happy

Good Morning Everyone!

We got some rain yesterday but not as much as we need.  North of us got more than we did.

I did take some time to make a card for today.

Wednesday is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  I am the start of the blog hop.

This week Liz picked our picture for our colors.

Here are the best matches for colors we could find.

When I looked at this I was immediately drawn to the Blushing Bride, Blackberry Bliss, and Mossy Meadow.  I did some thinking about these colors and decided to try something I saw on the internet.

I chose to use the Hexagon embossing folder and ink up one side then  use it like a stamp on my paper.  I originally stamped it on a Whisper White cardstock but did not like it.  So I decided to stamp it on the Mossy Meadow cardstock instead.

After I stamped it I then decided to use the Six Sided Sampler set to make some hexagons to punch out.  Then I just had to put my card together.  Here is my creation.

Want to see what the other ladies created for our blog hop?  Head on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what she created.  I am sure she has something awesome for you to see.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I need to find some punch art for Zoie’s card tomorrow so I will be doing some research.  Wish me luck!  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  1. Great job, Robbie! It always amazes me how our gang can all be given the same guidelines, and yet come up with such different creations! You inspire me, my friend!
