Fabulous You

Hello Stampers!

Well we had our recognition ceremony last night.  It was fun as the group that I taught the first class they took graduated.  I have decided to not teach in the program any more as I needed to free up some of my time.  Jess needs some help with Zoie and she will need more in about 6 months as she is pregnant again.  I figured I can continue to coordinate the program but I will not teach in it.  It was great to see the group at the ceremony.  They were a fun group and no other group was like them.

Today is our Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge.

I saw these colors and immediately thought of a card I had recently seen on my surfing the internet.  I decided I wanted to see if I could do the same thing but with these colors.  I stamped my image on Baked Brown Sugar with Whisper White and embossed it with white.  I then used a blender pen and colored in the image using the white ink.  I allowed it to dry really well and then using my markers I colored in the image.  I think I might try this again but to color it in with blender pens and ink in the lid and then use the marker to add highlights.  Here is my creation.

The flower really is red but my camera had a hard time capturing the true color with the Cherry cardstock base.

I hope you will head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog to see what the other ladies on the design team created.

Thanks for visiting me today.  We would love to have you play along with our challenge.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

  1. So pretty! I love the flower image in these colors. The white really makes them stand out!
