Coloring Down the Lines – Victorian

Good Morning Stampers!

I hope you are having a good week.   The weather here has been showers off and on during the day.  It is supposed to be that way all week long.  I don’t mind since I spend the day in the hospital with my sister.

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  I am the start but make sure you check out what the other ladies have created for this challenge as I am sure you will love their designs.

This week our colors were chosen by me.

These were the Stampin’ Up Colors I saw in it.

The added piece this week was to make the card in the Victorian style.

I was not certain what the Victorian style was so I went searching on the internet.  I could not find anything so I started thinking – and I asked Jess what Victorian meant to her.  She said lace and pearls.  To me Victorian said flowery wallpaper with a light brown tint.  I decided to use these ideas to make my card.  Here is my version of a Victorian using the above colors.

I tried to create my own wallpaper using stamps.  You will have to let me know what you think.

Now it is time to hop on over to Amanda’s Blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what she created for our challenge.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Take some time to be creative today.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  1. Looks like vintage wall paper Robbie. A beautiful trunk print with lace & pearls!

  2. Loving this plain and simple card…such beautifully soft colors and the sadly retired 'ribbon'…the lace ribbon really makes your design look very Victorian!
