Cut Out Fall

Hello Everyone!

Well the thunderstorms messed up the swim lesson.  They canceled it and did a water safety lesson.  Zoie was so disappointed.  It was disappointing for us also.  Now we have to wait until next weekend.

I saw this great color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary

I thought these colors were interesting together so decided to give them a try.  I also liked the simple
sketch challenge at Just Add Ink

I am not a fan of Delightful Dijon so I had to come up with something.  I remembered I had the outline from the leaves that were for the witch’s hat home decor I made.  I decided to try something a little different.  I took the outline and cut it down then backed it with the So Saffron.  It still needed something so I took another outline and used my sponge dauber to swipe the ink into the center of the leaf.  I like the look this created.  I added a strip of washi tape and a stamped strip and popped the leaf on top.  I felt it needed a sentiment so I added that using the For All Things stamp set. My card was done!  Here is what I created these colors and using this sketch.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be in my craft room again today.  I am working on some cd case calendars for the craft fair.  Have a Sensational Sunday!
