Hello everyone – with Mother’s Day right around the corner you may need a tag for her gift and the CutCardStock tag idea is a great one.

Using an embossing folder and some coordinating stencils and ink you can create a beautiful tag for a gift for your mom.

Today’s Project

I often use an embossing folder and stencils to make a card front but you can also use them for other ideas. If you have a gift and want to use something other than a card, think about using your supplies to make a tag. Check your collection of dies and find a shape you can use for your tag. Then find an embossing folder and coordinating stencils. You are then ready to make your tag.

I didn’t have a sentiment for Mother’s Day so I chose one that could be used for any occasion. The embossing folder and stencils I used has color suggestions so I used those to color my embossed image. To finish it off I used some green satin and twine to add at the top.
