Fall Colors

Happy Midweek Stampers ~ What are your favorite Fall Colors?

Well I got quite a few cards made yesterday.  I had to make the cards for my September workshop.  I managed to get 3 of them completed along with a few other things I had to do.  I had 2 ladies for my Bags & Tags class last night also.  This month is finished and I will start on next month.  With my upcoming trips I have to be prepared for all my commitments and classes.  After I get October straight I have to work on November as I am headed to North Carolina and the beach the first 2 weeks.  Busy, busy, busy!

We are continuing with our Coloring Down the Lines Fall Colors blog hop again this week.  Here is the Fall pictures for our inspiration.

I was inspired by the trees in this picture.  I decided to use my Sheltering Tree stamp set as it had not seen any love in quite a while.  I stamped the tree first.  I then took the leaf stamp and inked it up with Daffodil Delight.  I then used Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze ink pads and a sponge dauber to add some other colors.  After I had it inked up I stamped it on top of my tree.  I mounted this piece on a layer of Pumpkin Pie and then a layer of Early Espresso.  I took my Whisper White card base and embossed it with the Woodland embossing folder.  I attached the tree panel using dimensionals.  I took some Tombow Multipurpose liquid glue and used it to attach my ribbon to my card base.  I stamped the sentiment from Vertical Greetings using Early Espresso.  I used my hand banner punch (which was on the clearance rack if any of you want to get it) and flagged the ends of my sentiment.  I sponged the edges with the Espresso ink and used dimensionals to add it to my strip of ribbon.  Here is my finished creation.

Are you ready for some more Fall eye candy?  Head on over to Helen’s blog – Blue Dahlia Designs to see her creation.  Leave her some love and then check out the other ladies creations also.  I am sure they will be gorgeous!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping to finish up my cards for my paisley class today.  Wish me luck!  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and show me what you would create based on the photo!
