Falling

Hello Stampers ~Do you know 2 products that begin with the word Falling?  I used them today on my card.

Today Remi starts preschool.  Jess had to wait until she was 2 and then she had to wait until there was an opening since she is only going 2 days a week.  It will be interesting to see how this goes.  I think we will have a few weeks of adjustment and then she will settle in.  This should free up Jess 4 days a week which means I will also be freed up to play in my craft room and work ahead.

Over at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a sketch challenge this time.

I decided to play with some of the Falling in Love dsp on this one ~ specifically one that is not one of my favorite.   In the past I have shared a way to use the dsp you don’t care for by covering it with another layer.  My card today is another way to dsp by using a small amount of it on a panel.

I began with a piece of Blushing Bride card stock.  I embossed it with the Falling Petals embossing folder.  This piece was attached to the Very Vanilla card base.  I chose the piece of dsp that was to me very busy.  This was mounted onto a piece of Sahara Sand card stock.  I attached this panel to the card base with dimensionals.  All I needed then was a sentiment. The Crazy for You set allowed me to create my own sentiment.  I stamped it in Sahara Sand ink and flagged the ends.  I add it to my card base with dimensionals.  Here is my completed creation.
