First project for Clear Scraps

Hello everyone – I am so excited to be part of the team and share my First project for Clear Scraps!
Today’s Project
I love tiered trays and I have a mini one. You don’t often find small objects you can use on them so I loved the idea of creating my own. This fence is the small one and is just the right size to sit next to the tray.

To create your fence you will need the following items. I used the Clear Scraps Fence Shiplap Shape – small and the Embellishments chipboard punch outs – Spring.
Step by step
- Paint the fence with a stain and wipe off the excess to lighten it. Let dry for several hours.

- Choose the images on the chipboard punch outs you want to use on your fence and mask the others with post-it notes. Apply a coat of Gesso to the images you are using and let dry for 24 hours.

- Paint each object. I applied 2 coats of paint to all the objects except the body of the ladybug

- Once the paint is dry carefully punch out the pieces. If you have small tabs left after you punch them out, use a pair of scissors to trim it off.

- Use a strong glue to add the pieces to your fence. You may need to hold it in place for the glue to set.

- Shop your stash to find some flowers to add. Here is what your fence will look like when finished.

I have used chipboard pieces on another project. Here is a butterfly chipboard on this card.

All products used are listed in the steps above.
Thanks for visiting me today. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial for my First project for Clear Scraps.
