Hello everyone – I had a new kit that I played with to make this Tres Jolie butterfly birthday card.

Playing with new products is a great way to boost your creativity. I am having fun playing with new products that I have run across on the internet.

Today’s Project

When I made this design team I wanted to see what the kits were like so I ordered one. I used it for a recent Facebook Live to make a card with a fun wooden element.

I loved the deckle edge cards and used the smallest one for my card. I used 2 patterns from the kit for the layer.

The kit also had a chalk dew drop and I decided to see it if would color the wooden butterfly. The ink had to be heat set to dry it but it did a great job of coloring it.

I have made many butterfly cards over the years. This one uses a die cut with some watercolor paper I created. You can color a large image using some blob stamps you have like this idea.
