Flirty Flamingo Argyle

Hello Everyone ~ Happy Memorial Day and make sure you check out how  I combined several products for my Flirty Flamingo Argyle card today.

I managed to get most of the cards I need for this week designed yesterday.  I also made the 2 cards I need for my Facebook Live today and cut the paper for the 2 I will demonstrate.  I did not push myself but took my time.

Today I will be putting some catalogs I need to mail out together so I can go to the post office tomorrow.  I will also finish the cards I need for this week.  Then I am going to work on my schedule for the month.  I also have another project I need to finish up.

Sometimes when I don’t know what to make for my card I just start pulling elements I want to use.  That is what I did on this card.  I began with the Argyle embossing folder and then added the circle element from Painted Labels dies.  For my image I used the poppy flower from Painted Poppies.  Check out how I combined all these elements for my Flirty Flamingo Argyle creation.

Features of the card

  • card base ~ Flirty Flamingo – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White layer ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″ – 2 pieces, one for the inside and one for the outside
  • Flirty Flamingo ~ 2″ x 5 1/4″
  • Soft Sea Foam ~ 3″ x 3″
  • Soft Sea Foam ink
  • Poppy Parade and Soft Sea Foam markers
  • Argyle embossing folder

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  They are calling for rain again later this week.  My lawn is finally drying out only to have more rain.  Looks like we may have a rainy summer this year.  Have a Marvelous Memorial Day Monday and would you have ever thought about using this color for my Flirty Flamingo Arglye card.
