Flower Patch Thank You

Happy Monday Everyone!

Well yesterday was pretty jam packed.  We had Zoie’s birthday party yesterday and she requested a Batman theme.  Zoie was so excited all day.  She received lots of presents and they were all what she wanted.  I gave her some gems and a fairy stamp set and dies to match.  She was excited with the fairy things she got so she can set up her fairy house for when Fairy Emily comes to live with her.

Jess kept me busy last week making things for the party.  I make the cupcake toppers and the bats for the mobile.  I used my Silhouette and was I glad I did not have to cut all those things out.  Here are some pictures from the party.

Jess spray painted some boxes and added rectangles to make a city at night.  The boxes also doubled as present containers for some of her gifts.  The bats are the ones I used my Silhouette to cut out.

Ok, now on to my card for today.  I began with the sketch challenge at Just Add Ink 

I wanted to use one of my stamp sets that had a tall image.  I looked at several of my sets.  I thought about the Wild About Flowers set, but the stems were way to wide for my card stock.  I had also pulled out my Flower Patch set as I had not used it in a while.  It was the right width but a little too short.  I decided to stamp it close to the top and add a ribbon.  I was thinking the glitter tape but it was too wide.  I then spotted my Bermuda Bay 1/8 inch stitched ribbon to wrap across the bottom.  I then needed a back ground so I pulled out my Bright Designer series paper stack and used the polka dot pattern.  All I needed then was a sentiment.  I need some more thank you cards, so I pulled out my Crazy About You and added my Thank You.  Here is my completed card.
