Glittery Garden

Hello Stampers!

I hope you had a good day yesterday.  The weather here was gorgeous.  We did have some rain last night but it was a brief shower.  I was able to spend some time working on my swaps for the Catalog Premiere on Monday night.  I only needed 15 but I have a lot of pieces to the card.  I have the pieces all sponged and ready to assemble the card tomorrow.

Today at SUDSOL I am hosting a chat and challenge.  Our challenge is to use the Weekly Sketch Challenge and make a card.

I liked this sketch, but decided to flip it to make if work for the idea I had in mind.

I got my colors from the color challenge at Utah Divas International blog.

I wanted to do the Glamorous Butterflies challenge at the Butterfly Challenge blog.  You were to use a butterfly that had glitter and sparkle.  I decided to try stamping on our Silver Glitter paper.  I used a black stamp pad but it did not show up.  So I decided to stamp the image on my cardstock and when I punched it the black would show a little.  I used an alcohol spritz colored with my reinker to color the glimmer paper.

When my card was finished I realized it also fit the Garden Challenge at CASology.  Here is what I created.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping to get a lot done tomorrow but it will depend on how much Zoie lets me do.  Have a Sensational Sunday!
