Hello Ladies!
I had very little time yesterday to play in my craft room. I did manage to get a card made for today. I will have to be a busy bee and work around Zoie this weekend to get my other cards made .
I needed to do my card for today’s post and I had no idea what I was going to do. I decided to check out my challenge blogs. I was immediately drawn to the color challenge at Color Throwdown.
I thought these colors would be fun to play with. Now I needed a layout.
I saw the sketch at Clean & Simple and knew it would challenge me.
I was unsure what I would do with the 3 panels. I pulled out my catalog and checked out my stamp sets. I thought I could flip the sketch and use the Summer Silhouettes set to do this challenge. Here is what I created from these 2 sketches.
inside of card and envelope
I decided to use a ribbon rather than a sentiment. I also used some of my retired designer series paper to make an envelope.
Thanks for visiting me today. I am working on my swaps for Monday evening. I got my base finished and the pieces punched. Now I need to sponge the edges and then I can put my card together and it is done. Have a Super Saturday!
Robbie
Very pretty Robbie. Love the way you created the 3 panels using 3 images. Thank you for playing along with us at The Color Throwdown.
I love how you used different elements to make this sketch! That would have never crossed my mind! Very creative and lovely card!!
