Glittery White Christmas

Hello Stampers!

Well the craft show was okay.  There was not much traffic.  I think it was a little too early for people to be thinking about Christmas presents.  I did meet some new people who were interested in coming to my workshops.  Now I have tons of items for either gifting myself or Jess can use for school.

Today I started with the glimmer challenge at Just Add Ink.  Since I love glimmer this is a great place to start for me.  I then decided to use the sketch challenge at I Love Card Sketches

When I saw the 3 panels I could have used 3 different items.  I decided to see if the trees from White Christmas would fit and make a scene.  They would work if I did a little modification.  I stamped the trees on the left.  I then lined up the middle panel and marked where the snow bank needed to be.  I inked up the stamp using some masking and then stamped the middle panel.  I followed the same procedure to mark the right panel and then stamped the tree on it.  Then to add more glimmer I used my gel glitter pen and traced the trees and the snow.  My panels were done so I added them to my card base layer.  Then to add the ultimate glitter I added a strip of glimmer paper.  Here is my final card for the challenges.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Today I will make a few cards and then Jess and I are going to take the girls to an outside Artsfest.  They have all kinds of things for kids and Zoie will love it.  Have a Sensational Sunday!
