Good Morning Stampers ~ today I have a hand stamped thanks card for you. Check out my monochromatic creation!
Well I did not get in my flower bed. It drizzled all day yesterday. I don’t even want to think about how humid it is going to be when we finally get some sun! The good news is I spent quite a bit of time in craft room and made lots of cards for the rest of the week as well as my June workshop cards.
Tuesday is the Hand Stamped sentiment challenge for this week. We have an inspirational picture at Hand Stamped Sentiments this time.
When I looked at the picture I was immediately drawn to the green plate in the lower left hand corner. I loved the simplicity of the green with white and decided to use it as my inspiration.
I began by rubbing the embossing buddy all over my card. This is to prevent stray flecks from embossing on your card front. After that I used my Whisper White craft ink to stamp the fern from Butterfly Basics. After I had it stamped, I added some white embossing powder and heat set it. Then I used the same procedure for my flowers and butterflies. After I had all my embossing completed I added a strip of ribbon. It needed a sentiment so I stamped the thank you and used the Curvy Corner Trio punch to add some interest to the sentiment. I used dimensionals to attach it to the card front. Here is my completed card.
