Hand Stamped Thanks

Good Morning Stampers ~ today I have a hand stamped thanks card for you.  Check out my monochromatic creation!

Well I did not get in my flower bed.  It drizzled all day yesterday.  I don’t even want to think about how humid it is going to be when we finally get some sun!  The good news is I spent quite a bit of time in craft room and made lots of cards for the rest of the week as well as my June workshop cards.

Tuesday is the Hand Stamped sentiment challenge for this week.  We have an inspirational picture at Hand Stamped Sentiments this time.

When I looked at the picture I was immediately drawn to the green plate in the lower left hand corner.  I loved the simplicity of the green with white and decided to use it as my inspiration.

I began by rubbing the embossing buddy all over my card.  This is to prevent stray flecks from embossing on your card front.  After that I used my Whisper White craft ink to stamp the fern from Butterfly Basics.  After I had it stamped, I added some white embossing powder and heat set it.  Then I used the same procedure for my flowers and butterflies.  After I had all my embossing completed I added a strip of ribbon.  It needed a sentiment so I stamped the thank you and used the Curvy Corner Trio punch to add some interest to the sentiment.  I used dimensionals to attach it to the card front.  Here is my completed card.

We would love to have you play along with us.  Head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog  to check out the other ladies creations.  Then grab your supplies and create something using the inspirational picture and share it with us.

Thanks for visiting me today.  What plans do you have for today?  I have 2 ladies coming to do their Bags & Tags class.  After that I may try to record a video if I have time.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and I hope you will make a Hand Stamped Thanks card today!

  1. Cute, Robbie…I pull my weeds in the rain. The ground is softer and it's not as hot… Hugs
