Hello Stampers!
I did not get as much done as I wanted to yesterday. I did make my treat for my ladies for my workshop next month done (I will make the rest of them when I know how many I need), I made a treat holder for my craft fair, and I finished up the sample projects for the Paper Pumpkin for August. I also started working on one of my alternative projects. I have some problems trying to video with my grand daughter here. Since I want to get them done I have to work around when it is quiet enough for me to tape.
I love shaker cards! I think they are so much fun. It has been a while since I made one so I decided to play with an idea I had. I saw a sketch at Paper Craft Crew Challenges that I thought would work for my idea.
At Convention I won the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set in a prize patrol. I did not win the matching framelits so I had to order them. I thought it would be fun to use the witch hat framelit as the shape for my shaker card. I cut the hat out of black. I decided to make the base of the card Rich Razzleberry which I embossed with the large polka dot embossing folder. I set up the base for my shaker card and then added my sequins. I decided to use some green sequins I had as the band on the hat. I glued them in place with glue dots and then added some other colors I had. Before I added my top layer with my window sheet over the opening, I attached some Pumpkin Pie 1/8″ taffeta ribbon I had. I then added my top to my base using some Multipurpose Liquid Glue and my shaker card was done. To address the 3 circle elements in the lower left corner, I decided to use the word Spooky from the Seasonal Frame thinlits die. When I laid it on my card you could not see it since I cut it our of black and the shaker frame was black. I pulled out my white craft ink and sponged it. Now you could see the word. I added it in the lower left hand corner in place of the 3 circles. Here is what my final creation looks like.

As I said I love to make shaker cards. I struggle with what to put in to shake and how much to put in. Anyone offer some ideas?
Thanks for visiting me today. I am hoping to get a lot done today but time and quiet will tell. Have a Sensational Sunday!
