Happy Monday Everyone ~ a clean and simple Itty Bitty Greetings A Little Hello creation will be shared today.
Well I started on my swaps yesterday. I had hoped to make my Fancy Fold swap and one of my general swaps. I managed to get half of my Fancy Folds completed. It took a lot longer than I thought. For the other half, I just need to stamp the sentiment and cut it out as well as stamp my dragonflies and cut them out. Then they just need to be added to the card base. I am not sure I will get a chance to work on them today as I have an appointment to get my car inspected, an appointment with Bijou’s sitter for this weekend, and book club is in the evening. I will work on it as much as I can. Then I want to start one of my general swaps. My goal is to have my fancy fold and one general swap completed by this weekend. I think I can do it just need to get the Fancy Fold completed as it is involved.
I am going back to the catalog this week to continue on my Journey. Up today is the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. This is a set of phrases so it is a challenge to make it the focal point of a card. I began by stamping my sentiment with Blueberry Bushel. The ends were flagged. I added it to a piece of card stock using dimensionals that I had stamped the brackets from Eastern Beauty on the ends. The sentiment was still lost on the card base so I pulled out the Share What You Love embellishment kit and found a sentiment piece that I could use. The sentiment layer was added to the sentiment piece. For the card base I used a piece of the Best Route and 2018 – 2020 In color designer series papers to add a triangle on each half of the card front. The sentiment element was then added to the center of the card front using dimensionals. To finish off my card I used some of the retired glitter dots for some sparkle. Here is the completed Itty Bitty Greetings A Little Hello creation.
