Good Morning Ladies!
I hope you are having a good weekend. I was very lazy yesterday. I did some knitting and made my cards for my upcoming stamp set class. I just could not get going so I figured I needed a lazy day. I am hoping to be more productive today!
My card today is one of the cards we made at the Karen Burniston Workshop I went to. This workshop was over 3 hours and we had a little bit to finish when we got home – we had to color some of the pieces.
My first card used the oval accordion die. It was cut out of a dark green cardstock. They used a patterned paper to cut 2 other panels which we attached to the front and middle panel of the card. The ovals were attached to the first and third oval. The sentiment oval was stamped with a retired Stampin’ Up stamp. The scallop oval was a thin wooden piece that had slits on each end. We threaded the ribbon through the slits and then trimmed the ends. The butterflies on the wooden piece were cut out using the Butterfly Accessory dies and a red twine was tied around it to be the antenna. The front panel of the oval is a peel – off sticker. It is a black outline that was attached to an ivory cardstock and we had to color it when we got home. Here is the finished creation.

I hope you will come back tomorrow to see another card I made at her workshop. I enjoyed the class and learned a few tricks to help with my creations.
Thanks for visiting me today. Spend some time relaxing today! Have a Super Saturday!
