Lavender Blu Shabby Chic notebook
Hello everyone – I had some fun playing with an idea I saw online and had to make this Lavender Blu Shabby Chic notebook using it.
If you missed my posts for a few days my hosting company is having some issues and I could not log on. It messed up my blog and I had to get some help from someone to sort it out. Hopefully I am back on track!
I make a lot of lists of things I need to do for the week. These lists are usually on scrap paper and often get misplaced during the week. When Jamie Pate showed how to make a simple journal I decided to try and make one but use mine as a notebook.
Today’s Project
Lavender Blu has a download for some pretty paper that I thought would be great for my cover. I loved the soft pink flowers and background. I resized the download to be the exact size I needed for the cover.
The front had to be fairly flat so it did not get messed up. I used a doily, a label, and some rub ons to create a simple cluster embellishment.

Here is a pretty card with pink roses also using another Lavender Blu download. I used a wildflower collection downloadto make these cards that were a great set.
