Monochromatic CutCardStock Idea

Hello everyone – wait until you see the beautiful Monochromatic CutCardStock idea I have for today!
Using shades of one color helped me create today’s beautiful card. I was going to use yellow and then decided to switch to blue so I could use some of the fun Stardream Metallic Sapphire cardstock. This cardstock has a beautiful glimmer to it that won’t rub off.
Today’s Project
CutCardStock has many colors with different shades. I love getting them as I can then use them to create gorgeous flowers in various shades as well as monochromatic cards. I thought I would use some of the Stardream metallic paper for my idea and I had several shades of blue I could use. I pulled them all out and had fun creating this beautiful blue card.

I chose to layer the cardstock from darkest to lightest. I also used the metallic cardstock as a layer, the banner, and the center of the tiny flowers – you can never have too much sparkle! To add some interest to all the white I embossed the background layer. Instead of adding another layer of cardstock I used my ink pad and pushed the edge of the oval in it to give it the appearance of another layer.
