No Stamping Required

Hello Stampers ~ have you ever made a card that had no stamping required?

I am so excited!  I went to an all day crop yesterday with the goal of getting Michaela’s album finished.  I knew it was a tall task but I had to get as much done as I could.  I am glad to say I got her album completed from birth through high school.  I did not have any more photos printed so I have to get her college photos, her internship, and then some pictures of her and Josh.  These will be easy to do as there are not that many pictures.  Then I need to embellish and add my journaling.  I was totally surprised how much I got done.  It was all done with Project Life which made it quick and easy!  Love this system!

Today my card only has stamping on the inside and the envelope.  I don’t often do that but it just worked out that way.  I did not include a sentiment like the sketch as I had not created a general card in a while.  I began with the color challenge at Pal Paper Arts.

I decided to work on the square and embellishment first.  I decided to use the butterflies from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits instead of a flower.  I then embossed the panel with the Brick Wall embossing folder.  I added some strips of card stock and gold glimmer paper and attached my butterflies with dimensionals.  I laid this panel on my card base and it still needed something so I decided to emboss the card front with the Woodland textured embossing folder.  I then attached my panel with Tear & Tape and my card was complete.  Here is my no stamping required card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Jess came home early yesterday as Lily (her dog) is very sick.  She is going to take her to Annapolis to get some further tests.  Cross your fingers!  Have a Sensational Sunday and give a no stamping required card a try!
