A non traditional Christmas color card

Happy Monday!

Can you believe that in a few day we will be in the last month of the year?  Where did the year go?  Now the countdown for Christmas begins.  Have you finished your shopping?

Late Night Stampers has a great challenge this week.  You are to create a Christmas card but you cannot use red or green.  When I was beginning to work on my card I had no intention of making this card.  I had another idea in mind and I will save that idea for later this week.  I saw the Dasher set in my Christmas bin and an idea it me and I had to run with it.

I inked up the stamp with Early Espresso then wiped off the antlers with a baby wipe.  I then used my Crumb Cake marker to color the antlers and the Marina Mist marker to color the snowflakes.  I stamped it on vanilla and then layered it on Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, and Early Espresso.  I stamped the sentiment at an angle.  The card was still missing something so I added some silver tinsel trim.  When it was all finished I spritzed it with Vanilla Smooch Spritz.  You can see some of the sparkle in the photo.  Here is what I created.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card and will find some inspiration to create your own non traditional color Christmas card.  Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!
