Ornate Borders Friend

Hello Everyone ~ I have another idea using a great border die with my share of the Ornate Borders Friend card.

Wow yesterday I was very busy.  We walked in the morning then went to water aerobics.  Afterwards we floated around in the pool for a while.  When I got home I cleaned my bathroom then I had a consultation with a new hair dresser.  Afterwards I went grocery shopping for a few things I forgot the other day.  By the time I got home and finished up the bathroom it was dinner time.  I can’t believe how quickly the day went by.

Today I don’t have anywhere that I have to go.  I do have my Facebook Live tonight so I will get set up for that.  I also want to spend some time in my studio cleaning and organizing.  I have to go through my cards and send them out to clear out some of them.  If I have time I may make a couple birthday cards as 2 people in the development have birthday’s this month so I want to get cards ready to send out.

I posted a card on Pinterest last month that was very popular.  It used a border die and was a clean and simple card.  I decided to use the die again with another die for today’s card.  I also used the cut out from the border die to decorate the sentiment die.  Here is the Ornate Borders Friend idea.

Features of the card

  • Daisy Lane
  • card base ~ Sahara Sand – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White panel ~ 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • Basic Black strip ~ 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
  • Misty Moonlight ~ scrap big enough to die cut
  • Flowers for Every Season ribbon combo pack ~ the Misty Moonlight and white twine
  • Ornate Borders dies
  • Stitched So Sweetly dies

This clean and simple card uses several dies. I even used the cut outs from the border die to decorate the sentiment die. Check out the Ornate Borders Friend card to see what I used to create it.

I used one of the dies from the card front to add some ink to the envelope and inside panel. Don't miss seeing the card front for the Ornate Borders Friend card to see how I used this die cut.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I am anxious to get my studio organized so I can use the organizing things I brought back with me.  Have a Great Day, don’t forget about my Facebook Live tonight, and wasn’t the color combo I used on my Ornate Borders Friend card a great one?
