Third Post today, scroll down for the two.
Was I busy last week before I left. I found some great sketches last weekend to use for some of my cards this week. I made the cards and took my pictures and uploaded them so all I had to do this week was create my post and publish it. I really like all the cards I made and can’t wait to send them to my friends. I do need to make more Valentine cards as I don’t have many of them.
I used a second sketch from Page Plans to make this card. As you can see from the sketch you were to have something going diagonally across the card. I had my card all make with my gray velvet ribbon going top to bottom. When I looked at the sketch, I saw it was supposed to be diagonally. I tried pulling the layer off but I had applied it with sticky tape (I always use this when I have ribbon so my layers will stick together) so it was not budging without tearing the card apart. So I cut the ribbon and applied it diagonally but as you can see from the picture, you can barely see it. The card was too cute to pitch and start over so I just left it. Here is the sketch and my creation.
