Paint Pens

Hello Ladies!

I hope you had a great day yesterday.  I did not get to work in my room because I had to do some ironing.  I would have preferred to work in my room but I had to get the ironing done.  Today I have to clean my bathrooms and I have some more ironing to do as well as cutting the grass so I am not sure if I will get into my room today.

Yesterday I mentioned I was playing with some new toys.  I saw a video on Facebook about Wink of Luna pens.  These pens are made to paint on dark cardstock.  I thought they looked like they would be fun to play with so I ordered a set of them.  I had some time to play with them.  I tried several different ways to use them.  Some of the ways I used them were:

silver peel off stickers on Night of Navy cardstock
black peel off sticker on Whisper White cardstock
silver embossed image on Night of Navy
black embossed image on Whisper White cardstock
silver peel off on Basic Black

I had a lot of fun with these.  Today I am sharing the one I created using a silver embossed image.  I tried several of my colors on the dark cardstock.  Some of them worked and some did not.  I did find that if I painted the dark cardstock with silver first then the lighter colors would show up.  Here is the card I created using the Night of Navy cardstock.

I have some other pieces I have played with that I will be sharing at a later date.  I still have some other toys I have not played with in a while I will be playing with also.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a busy day ahead of me.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Robbie

  1. Very pretty card…though I am not sure exactly what you did – presuming from your notes, that you brushed the background c/s. I checked out the website and think that the pens are very pretty but kind of expensive – at least for one!
