Happy Wednesday Stampers ~ time for some Paisley Thanks today!
Well I ended up spending the day working on some things for my Pinterest board as well as preparing for my workshop last night. Today Jess and I are going to work in her storage unit as well as make a few things for our dinner tomorrow. I hope to spend a little time working on some other things.
To give you a heads up, Stampin’ Up is doing a fabulous Online Extravanganza this week and I know you will be busy with all the Black Friday sales. I will be having my own Black Friday special so don’t forget to come back and check it out.
My card today is for the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop. We are continuing with our theme of “Thanks” projects this month.
I have a Paisleys & Posies class next week so I wanted to make another sample to share with the ladies taking the class. I began by choosing my colors to use – Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Rich Razzleberry. After that I stamped and colored the scallop image. I then used the matching framelits to cut it out. I also cut out one of the other framelits using Rich Razzleberry card stock. I took a layer of Whisper White and used the Pretty Paisleys textured impression embossing folder to emboss the white layer. I attached this to my Bermuda Bay card base. After determining the placement of my paisleys I attached to my layer using Tombow multipurpose liquid glue for the on on the bottom and dimensionals for the one on top. Next I took the retired Greetings Thinlits and cut out the “Thanks” from white 4 times and once from Rich Razzleberry. I used the Tombow glue to layer them on top of each other. It was then attached to my card using the Tombow. This added some dimension to my sentiment. Here is my completed card.
