Paper Craft Crew – Boo

Hello Stampers!

Well I was able to make the little treats for my ladies who come to my workshop this month.  I worked on them during my Paper Pumpkin Party yesterday and then finished them up when everyone was gone.  I need to get some little treat for the inside and put the belly band on.  I think they are going to like it.  I will share it after my workshop.

My card today began with the fun sketch at Paper Craft Crew Challenges.

I liked this sketch and my mind started racing with ideas.  I thought it would be fun to use the witch’s hat in Howl-o-ween Treat for the star shape.  I embossed it and cut it out using the matching framelits.  I needed to address the speckles behind it so I thought what about using one of our spider webs and sponging over the it to create the look of a web.  I used Smokey Slate to do the sponging to keep it soft.  Next I needed to address the arrow.  Well as luck would have it there is a wand in the set so I used it.  Now I needed the 2 banners.  There is an adorable spider in the set.  I stamped it and used the framelit to cut it out.  I decided to use a dimensional to attach it to the card and then used a Basic Black marker to draw a web line down to it.  Now I needed to do the other banner.  I thought it would be fun to make a banner that was hanging from the wand.  I searched high and low for a stamp set that had the work “Boo” or something I could use.  I could not find anything.  As luck would have it, my Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Project Life accessory pack was sitting there and what did I spy?  Letters!  I pulled out a piece of paper and attached my letters to it.  I then cut it down and ran some Basic Black baker’s twine through it to make it a hanger.  I the attached it to the wand using glue dots.  I then placed all my elements and added my candy dots.  Here is my final creation.

I have a hair appointment today.  Then I would like to do some playing in the afternoon.  It will depend on how long I am at my appointment.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I still have some other new goodies to play with so I want to find some time for that as well as organizing my craft fair items to see what I still need to work on.  Have a Marvelous Monday!
