Pine Branches Card

Hello Stampers ~ I have an all occasion Pine Branches Card to share with you today.

Well we are off for another full day of shopping.  We had a great time yesterday and found lots of great bargains.  I am sure there are some stores we have not visited that we will hit today.  Then we will finish the day off with a fabulous dinner.  The evening will be spent talking and laughing as we cram everything into this last evening.

I played with the Christmas Pines stamp set and thought it I would try a simple card that could be used for an all occasion card.  I began with a card base of Garden Green.  My next layer was going to be Whisper White but I needed to add my ribbon before I adhered it to my card base.  I used some of the 1/8″ gold ribbon to make my bow.  Now I could add my layer to my card base.  I had some of the Be Merry designer series paper where the back side has white specs on it.  I knew it would be perfect as a layer.  I had some of the Sale-abration gold washi tape so I added it as a strip across the lower edge of the dsp.  I then added the paper to bottom of my card base.  I used a piece of Whisper White to stamp the pine branches onto.  This was mounted onto a piece of Garden Green card stock and attached to the card base using dimensionals.  My pine cone was made using the Pretty Pines thinlits and by cutting the bottom layer out of Early Espresso.  To make the top layer, I cut it out of Soft Suede and then used gold Wink of Stella on the top.  I used Tombow multipurpose liquid glue to  adhere the 2 layers.  The pine cone was added to the pine branches panel with dimensionals.  Here is my all occasion Pine Branches card.
