Product Focus Thursday

Good Morning Everyone ~ it is Product Focus Thursday and I have a very cute card for you!

Today is my yarn store day.  I have not been in about 3 weeks as Mary was out of town and then I was out of town.  It will be good to see her and see how her trip was.  I am anxious to do some knitting also.  I need to work on some of my unfinished projects!

Today is the Product Focus blog hop.  It is a small hop today as I guess everyone is busy with classes and trying to get things in before the catalogs retire.  This week the challenge is

Use the Stitched Shapes framelits to create a project!

I love the Stitched Shapes framelits so this was a fun one for me.  I actually used 2 framelits and used one of them 2 times.  I began with a piece of Basic Black card stock and using 2 framelits I cut out a frame.  I then used the same large framelit and a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut out the square in the upper left hand corner.  A piece of white was cut a little larger than the opening on the card front layer.  Using Soft Sky and a sponge with a cloud template I created a background.  Using the Falling Flowers bundle, I stamped and cut out some sprigs and small flowers.  The sprigs were layered so that they pop out of the opening of the card front layer.  The black frame was attached to the lower right hand corner of the card front layer using glue dots.  The flowers were added along the bottom of the cut out square using glue dots.  Using the card front layer, I determined where to glue the cloud paper onto the Cherry Cobbler card base.  After the cloud layer was added, dimensionals were added to the back and the card front layer was added to the card base.  Here is my completed creation.

Now it is time to hop on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see how she used the Stitched Shapes framelits.  I am sure it will be a fabulous creation!

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  We are supposed to get some nasty weather here tonight.  I hope it clears out before Friday morning as I am headed to a girls shopping weekend!  Have a Great Day and did you enjoy the Product Focus Thursday?
