Purple idea for CutCardStock

Hello everyone – if you have some pattern paper in the same color, you can use the Purple idea for CutCardStock to make your card.
I had a pack of paper in all different shades of purple. I decided to use 2 of the patterns to make this monochromatic card.
Today’s Project
I began this card with a layout of a card I saw online. I then pulled in a collection of pattern papers and found 2 patterns I could use together. I found a darker shade of purple to use as the base strip for the pattern paper. All I had to do was make the other elements for the card. I chose a leaf spray die cut as the focal image for my card.

To add some texture I used my favorite cross hatch embossing folders for the background. I used some vellum to add my die cut image. This is a great technique for highlighting your die cut.

I have used the monochromatic idea for other cards I have shared. This card uses shades of blue. Here is another monochromatic idea using turquoise.
