Good Morning Everyone ~ What do you think of the color Razzleberry?
Well my wish for snow came true! We have snow today and should get about 5″ Just enough to make everything white and glistening and pretty! It will be pretty for a few days and then later next week it will be back up in the 60’s so it will be all melted.
I needed some inspiration so I checked out my challenge blogs. I found an interesting sketch at
Tuesday Morning Sketches
I took the sketch 1 element at a time. The circle could be a doily so I pulled out my package. When I saw the vines I immediately thought of the Botanical Builder framelits so I cut that out using Old Olive. When you cut it out, it only cuts one side so I used my scissors to cut the other side out using the embossed lines as a guide. While I had the framelits out I used some Rich Razzleberry to cut out one of the flowers. I needed to come up with something for the vertical rectangle so I pulled out my Brights paper pack and used the polka dot paper. Now I need the horizontal strip so I had some silver vellum that I. Now I had all the pieces so I put my card together. For the vine, I did not like the angle so I cut the vine in half and laid them on my card the way I wanted. To finish off the flower I added a rhinestone. Here is my completed creation.
