Happy Monday Stampers!
Well our kids go back to school this week. Things have been gearing up for a few weeks. The road I live on is usually very quiet except when school is in session. Then the drop offs and pick ups make the road very busy. I try to avoid those times in order to avoid the long lines. When do the kids start school in your area?
I decided to try something new for a few days. I was making a card using a sketch challenge. As I was making it I realized you could very easily change the look. I decided to use the sketch and make 3 different cards. Over the next 2 days I will share the other cards I made using the same sketch.
I began with the sketch at Clean & Simple
For my first card I went with a Halloween theme. I used some of the Happy Haunting designer series paper for the horizontal strips and mounted it onto a strip of Tangelo Twist card stock. I then stamped the bat on a piece of vanilla and punched it out. I added a punched Tangerine layer behind it and popped it on my card. Next I inked up my sentiment and then used a black marker to go around the outside of the words. Here is what my final creation looks like.

Thanks for visiting me today. Do you like the idea of taking a sketch and making different cards using it? Let me know what you think. Have a Marvelous Monday!

Our schools start back closer to the end of the month…people are getting new stuff for the new year…not a shopping time for us regular folks! Looking forward to to seeing how you will change yo the card design!
