Santa and Rudolf for Sunday Ideas
Hello everyone – I just had to play with this image as it is so cute and was perfect for the Santa and Rudolf for Sunday Ideas.
I love using different Santa images for my Christmas cards. I have a variety of great ones and this is the first time I have used this one.
Today’s Project
I ran across a simple fancy fold that I knew would be a fun layout for this card. I checked my stash for some Christmas paper and had this tree and polka dot patterns. Since Santa is mainly red the green would be a great contrast to set him off. I used an svg file from Unity Stamp Co that cut out the image of the Santa. I cut several of the images and then made a template with the cut out in the center. Now I use my Misti and line up my stamp with the cut out, drop in the plain cut out and stamp it. The stamp did have some dots around Santa’s head but I fussy cut them out.
Some simple alcohol marker coloring and the image was done. I used a pink marker to give Santa’s nose and cheeks some color. The sentiment was stamped on a strip of white and the ends were angle cut. I finished it off with some gold gems.
