#ShopYourCraftStash Beautiful Day

Hello Everyone ~ I had fun with today’s #ShopYourCraftStash Beautiful Day creation.

We had a great dinner at Josh’s parents last night.  I don’t know if we will be doing anything today or not.  A lot will depend on Jake and how he is feeling.  He has good days and bad days.  The doctor said it will take a week to a week and a half for the medicine to help his reflux.  He has improved some so hopefully by the weekend he will be much better.  He is such a delight when he does not have tummy issues and loves to snuggle.  I will miss his snuggles when I leave next week.

I saw this layout somewhere and I don’t remember where.  I knew I wanted to try it.  I began by #ShopYourCraftStash  for my dies and embossing folder.  The card base is Basic Black.  I took a panel of Crushed Curry and embossed it with the Hexagons embossing folder.  I determined how much space I needed for my sentiment and then cut the embossing folder following the lines.  This piece was attached to my card base using Tear & Tape.  The sentiment was stamped onto the bottom of the card front using Whisper White ink and then embossed using White embossing powder.  I used the card front to determine where to place the other piece of the embossed Crushed Curry using Tear & Tape.  The extra was then cut off.  Using the Detailed Dragonfly dies and Basic Black card stock I cut out the bees.  The bees were then added to some scraps of Crushed Curry and trimmed around the die.  The completed bees were added to the card front using dimensionals.  Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Beautiful Day creation.
