Hello Stampers ~ I went shopping for my #ShopYourCraftStash Bermuda Bay and Black creation!
Well I got to Maryland in time to take Zoie to gymnastics. This trip seemed to take forever for me to get here. It was not any longer than normal but for some reason it felt like I would never arrive. Traffic was not bad and the weather was clear and sunny which is good as I hate driving in the rain. Yesterday we went to Remi’s Christmas program at her preschool. They were so cute and she did a great job. She was taller than all the other students and I think she was the oldest. It is hard to believe she will be in Kindergarten next year. Time is passing much too quickly!
I love shopping in my craft stash as I find some product that I can use for my cards. Today’s card actually has 7 retired products on it. I just started with one idea and one thing led to another for the creation of the this card. I started with the Stripes embossing folder which I inked up the raised side using my Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad. I then set the Whisper White panel on top and closed the folder. This was run through my Big Shot and when it was done I had a great embossed striped panel. I mounted this panel onto a piece of Basic Black card stock using Tear and Tape. To this panel I added a strip of Black Glittered organdy ribbon and a strip of the Bermuda Bay ribbon again using Tear & Tape. This panel was then attached to a Bermuda Bay card base. Using Basic Black card stock I punched out 3 branches from the Bird Builder punch. The Flower image from the Oh So Eclectic set was stamped using Bermuda Bay ink. The coordinating Eclectic Layers dies were used to cut it out. I attached the leaves to the back of the flower using glue dots. A dimensional was then used to adhere the flower to the center of the card. Using Bermuda Bay card stock and the Boho Blossom punch the small was punched out 3 times. Two flowers were punched out of Bermuda Bay using the Petite Petals punch. To add some interest to the flowers the dot stamp in the set was used with Bermuda Bay ink stamping them all over. The flowers were attached with glue dots and dimensionals. To finish the card a bow was tied using both ribbons and added using glue dots. Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Bermuda Bay and Black creation.

I have played with Bermuda Bay and Black quite a bit on my blog. Check out this idea that uses some white embossing. If you have some black and white washi tape here is an idea to using some of it. Some of our designer series paper also has Bermuda Bay in it and makes for a great idea for like this Smiles card.
