Happy Wednesday Ladies ~ I used some new goodies from the Occasions catalog for my Silver Love today!
I spent some time in my craft room playing with some of the new items from the Occasions catalog. I managed to make a card for today as well as some ideas I am thinking about for my Scrapbook classes I am starting in the new year. I still need to play some more and then figure out the layout. I will be working on samples for my January classes during the Christmas holiday so I can send out the information in my newsletter. Are you signed up to get my newsletter? If not, the form is on the right.
Before I get started with our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop, I promised to show you the project of Amanda’s that I made using the November Paper Pumpkin. It used a shadow box frame. Here is my version of her project.
So now that you have seen my fabulous alternate project using the November Paper Pumpkin, it is time for the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.
We are continuing with our Silver and Gold challenge. I opted to use silver on my card today. I also used a new stamp set from the upcoming Occasions catalog. This stamp set is called Sealed with Love! There are a lot of small images in this set which make it perfect for making backgrounds or adding the images as a highlight.
For my card I stamped the background layer with 2 images using Real Red. I then added some of the new Sending Love ribbon combo pack. This is 1/8″ grosgrain ribbon in red and white. Would love to see some more 1/8″ ribbon in the Annual Catalog! After I attached my white layer to my Real Red card base I was ready to create my focal image. I began with a silver doily. I used the 2″ circle punch and the new Sending Love designer series paper stack to add a circle to my doily. Then using a scrap of white I stamped and embossed the string of hearts in silver. I cut them out and mounted them onto the doily layers with dimensionals. My circle layer is finished so I added it to my card base using dimensionals. Here is my completed card!

Since these items are new and not available for you to purchase yet, I will not have a list of supplies.
