Hello Everyone ~ Are you excited to our Thursday’s Focus this week?
I did not get as much time to play yesterday as I had wanted. I had to clean my bathrooms – my favorite thing to do – NOT! I did get a little bit of time to work on a project for an upcoming class as well as a card idea I saw and wanted to modify it so I could use one piece of paper. I managed to figure it out and will be making a video to share with you.
Our Thursday Focus is today. We are again focusing on Twinkle Trees and Tin of Tags. After seeing Amanda’s card last week where she created a card other than a Christmas card, I challenged myself to do the same this week. I looked at both sets to see what other images were in there. In the Twinkle Trees set there was a cluster of hearts. In the Tin of Tags there was the sentiment “With Love”. I knew I could combine these to make my card.
I stamped the cluster of hearts on a strip of white. This was mounted onto a piece of Real Red and attached it to my white card base. I used a piece of Real Red dsp from the Brights Paper Stack. The piece was cut to fit on the front. The sentiment was stamped on white card stock using Real Red ink. I cut this down to fit. A piece of red glitter paper was cut a little larger than the sentiment piece and then the sentiment was mounted using glue dots onto the red glitter paper. This was added to the center of the dsp with dimensionals. I used the Sweetheart punch and white card stock to punch some hearts. The retired Itty Bitty Punch Pack was used to add some glitter hearts in the center. These hearts were added to the top of the dsp. To finish off my card I used some red twine.

Thanks for visiting me today. Today is my day to go to the yarn store. I am working on a cowl that I am curious to see how it turns out. Have a Great Day and let me know what you think about the Thursday Focus idea.
