Simple & Beautiful: A Clean and Minimalist Journal Page

Sometimes, less really is more and the Simple & Beautiful: A Clean and Minimalist Journal Page is a great example of that.
A clean and simple journal page proves you don’t need lots of layers, embellishments, or fancy techniques to create something beautiful. With a few pattern papers and a die cut butterfly you have the makings for s simple cluster for you journal page.
Today’s Project
There are no rules in journaling. You can use lots of layers and textures for one page and the next page can be simple. The simple background was perfect for the simple cluster I created. I chose to use just a few elements on the page and leave lots of open space. Grab a few of your favorite supplies, and with a little inspiration, and some time you can create something special.

If your page has elements you can highlight then take advantage of that. The horizontal lines add to the simplicity of the page. The addition of the butterfly gives the page a touch of color.
