AAA Christmas Card Challenges #1: Traditional Christmas
Hello everyone – I have joined a new challenge team and our first challenge is today so I created this AAA Christmas Card Challenges #1: Traditional Christmas idea
Each month on the 25th we will share a Christmas card with you. Our first challenge is Traditional Christmas.

Today’s Project
With Santa’s jolly personality and timeless charm, he makes the perfect focal point for a handmade Christmas greeting. I thought the tree pattern paper was the perfect background for this image. To begin you ned to choose your colors. Since a traditional Santa is red and trees are green I went with those colors. I wanted to use some pattern paper and I had some green with trees so that was an easy choice. The Santa image is large so it was easy to make him the focal image. Using minimal supplies and simple stamping it was easy to create this fun Christmas card.
That pattern paper is fun with the green and black and green plaid trees. A red plaid strip was also added for some interest. To draw attention to the sentiment I layered it onto a sunburst punched circle. I also added some gold gems around the sentiment to highlight it also.

Here is a Santa card that uses the same green tree paper that I used on today’s idea. If you don’t have a Santa stamp you can also make a punch art Santa like the one on this card.
