Hello Everyone ~ I have a Simple Quick DSP card for you today.
I have some fun plans for today. I am going to lunch and then to the local theater to see Mama Mia. There have been other ladies in the neighborhood who saw the show last weekend and said it is very good. I am looking forward to it. Knowing I would not be home most of today, I had to get a lot done yesterday. I managed to clean up some of my studio and worked on 2 projects I have to get finished. One is almost done but I had to let my ribbon dry. The other has been cut, punched, and stamped so I have t color it in. I will work on the coloring in the evening while I watch TV. I am not certain how much I will get done today as I have a color challenge card for a design team to get completed. Once I get on a regular schedule I will be able to work ahead which will help.
Today is my 10 Minute Creation video series. This card can easily be completed in 10 minutes or less. I did use retired designer series paper and ribbon on my project. I have so much retired paper and ribbon that I thought I would use some of it. You can easily recreate this card using whatever supplies you have. Here is the video for my Simple Quick DSP Card.
Isn’t that a great way to use some designer series paper strips? Here is the photo of the card so you can see all the details.

Hi Robbie,
This card sparked my interest to take out some old DSP. I personally think its a good idea to showcase your designs with retired DSP. Not everyone is able to purchase the latest DSP, unless they are a demonstrator. Once the new DSP comes out the old gets forgotten, unless you are a super card maker and make projects and cards when the new DSP arrives. (which I am not) 🙂 I am not creative, so I look forward to seeing different ideas. I so appreciate your ideas, and others who share their talent and in some cases the measurements they use. Just an idea maybe you could alternate between the old and the new. Show what a design would look like with the old and the new DSP. In any case I appreciate you sharing.
Thank you for your time.
Lin
Thanks Lin! I love reading your comments! I appreciate your input about the retired DSP. I think your idea of mixing the old with the new is perfect way to appeal to everyone and I will be using it in the future. I did a 6 x 6 DSP One Sheet Wonder on my Facebook Live last Thursday night. I am doing another one this Thursday if you are interested.
pretty pretty card
Thanks Betty Ann! Gotta use up all the DSP I have!
