Sketch Frenzy Friday – Priceless

Hi Ladies!

Well Blogger had issues and no one could get on their blogs.  I am finally able to add my post for today.

Our sketch today was created by Patrice Herrera.

I ran across a great technique on Marie-JoseeTrudel’s blog A La Pause.  I decided to combine this challenge with the technique so I could make my technique card for my class on Wednesday.

Marie-Josee was great about telling me what she did but mine did not turn out like hers.  so I have modified it.  I also had another idea late last night that I am going to try also.

Here are some of the trials I did.

I did not like the look as it did not turn out like Marie’s.  So I went back to the drawing board and here is my next set of trials.

None of these had the same look of hers so I tried something else.

This still did not give me the look I wanted to I tried adding some brayering to some of the ones I had created.

While this still did not work like hers, I did have some I liked enough to use.  Here is how I used 1 of the sheets I created using the sketch we had.

I will continue to work on this and hopefully eventually get it like Marie-Josee’s.

Now it is time for you to head over to Ros Davidson’s blog to see what she created using the same sketch.  Hopefully she was able to get into blogger to add her post!  Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!
